FASHION STAR!!
Hosted by Elle Macpherson and Mentored by Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos, 14 unknown designers will compete to win collections with Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and/or H&M. Every week the remaining contestants will be given a challenge to create designs outside of their comfort zone which will then strut down the runway in front of Elle, Nicole, John and Jessica and also Buyers from the three companies. (Caprice Willard (Macy's), Terron E. Schaefer (Saks) and Nicole Christie (H&M)) The buyers will then be forced to make a quick decision whether or not they want to make an offer on the designer's collection. However, if designers receive no offers they will be up for elimination, with only one save from the Mentors. The final designer will not only be crowned the winner of Fashion Star, they will also receive 6 million dollars in orders for collections in Macy's Saks and H&M.
The best part about this reality competition show is that the winners who receive weekly offers from any of the three companies will be able to be purchased online after the show ends or in store the very next day.
