SimySkin Lifting & Maintenance Serums

I was lucky enough to partner up with Skincare Brand SimySkin to review their Anti-Aging Triple Advanced Face Serum Ages 25-45 and their Phase II Eye Serum Ages 25-45 a few months back. After using them daily for the past couple months I have watched these two products transform my skin by correcting dark spots, creating elasticity and firmness, reducing fine lines and puffiness, and enhancing brightness. This lightweight formula is easily applied after cleansing your face and before applying your daytime or nighttime moisturizer.

Here's a little about SimySkin:
  • US brand that opened their doors in February 2014
  • Creates age specific skin care products to help the aging process
  • Relies heavily on science while developing products that actually work
  • B12 is SimySkin's primary ingredient due to proven regenerative effects
  • A lot of other natural ingredients are used, such as Pomegranate Extract, Sage, Seaweed, Honey, and Ginseng to name a few.

I've teamed up with Naja, a Lingerie and Swimwear brand, to share my Must Have Beach Bag Essentials, and I thought with my Beach Vaca to Jamaica next week the timing couldn't have been more perfect. Naja strongly believes in high quality luxury fabrics, meticulous craftsmanship, being environmentally/socially conscious, and offering affordable prices. Naja also works with charitable organizations such as Golondrinas Foundation and Underwear for Hope. As quoted on the website, "It started with a belief that lineage should be about the woman who wears it… … and that it should make her feel good about herself." Make sure to check out their website by clicking here, you can also leave your e-mail to receive 10% off your first bra purchase or get $15 for every friend you refer.

BEAUTY REVIEW - Aveeno Fresh Essentials Product Line

I was lucky enough to team up with Aveeno to Review the Aveeno Fresh Essentials Product Line. I have now been using the products for just over a month and have been really enjoying them, having never used any Aveeno face products before. The Fresh Essentials Product Line contains the Daily Exfoliating Scrub, the Nourishing Moisturizer SPF 30, and the Hydrating Night Cream. Aveeno created the 'Fresh Essentials' Line using Southernwood Extract and Vitamins A, C, and E to keep what's good for your skin IN and the bad OUT! Helping replenish tired skin, strengthen from environmental elements, and improving dark under eye circles, dry patches, and dullness. To read more information about Aveeno and these products please visit www.aveeno.com.
Read more about these three products below.
1. Daily Exfoliating Scrub - I was sceptical at first with a 'daily' scrub however was pleasantly surprised after using it for the first time as it was extremely soft with a subtle consistency of anti-oxidant Southernwood Extract. I applied it with a Foreo Luna and it created a nice lather, leaving my skin extremely soft and residue free, removing dead skin cells and pore-clogging imperfections. The light floral scent and oil-free formula were definitely the cherries on top of an amazing product. 2. Nourishing Moisturizer SPF 30 - This day moisturizer was light weight, oil-free, and left my skin feeling smooth. While smoothing and rejuvenating your skin, it also protects against the sun, which is extremely important to me. I did find one negative, which was it did not completely absorb into my skin and felt like it stayed on my skin's surface, leaving it impossible to apply makeup smoothly after. However, on the weekends or a makeup free day it was extremely moisturizing! 3. Hydrating Night Cream - My skin just loves this night cream, by far my favourite product in the line. I have been applying this nightly and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. In the product notes I was provided the product was described as refreshed and renewed, which couldn't have been more on point. It is light weight, which is a nice change from a lot of other night creams I have tried, oil-free, and quickly absorbs into my skin. Waking up to moisturized, smooth, rejuvenated skin every morning is definitely something I can get use to.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed each one of these products and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that needs an easy yet effective skin care routine. The products range between $9.97 and $19.99 CDN, and can be found at your local Shoppers Drug Mart or Pharmacy.
