Taylor Swift graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia's April 2012 Edition. The country starlet looks gorgeous and grown up with her straight blond hair and wearing a Gucci 20's style flapper dress. Swift has definitely stepped up her game in the last couple of months, first her stunning Vogue cover and now this. WOW, I can't wait to see what she does next.
This is simply my favorite time of the year, Fashion Week. I love going from Fashion City to Fashion City and seeing all of the amazing collection designers have to offer. Paris Fashion Week is from February 28th - March 7th and features some of the industries TOP designers/brands, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Balenciaga, Lanvin and Elie Saab just to name a few. Don't forget to check out my blog during Paris Fashion Week for updates.
For some people less is more, but that is not how Roberto Cavalli sees things. The styling in his Fall 2012 Collection was beyond impeccable and complimented his already gorgeous clothes. Using such intricate techniques to make beading look like reptile skin, mink laser look like crocodile and fur that was pieced together looking like feathers. Silhouettes were from ultra fem to rocker chic, and everything in between. I love the mixing of prints and bold colours, two of my favorite things.
"Easy Chic" being the title of Giorgio Armani's Fall 2012 Collection, which was shown February 27th in Milan. The collection featured a lot of suit like pairings that could be worn as a complete outfit or as separates. You could also not fail to see the bold colours that were used, pinks and oranges were used as strong pops of colours in fur coats or sleeves of a dress. It was also a nice change to see the models interacting with the audience instead of keeping their focus in front of them. The collection was the perfect balance between modern and classic, being called "Modern Eccentric".
