"After six years at helm of Mulberry, creative director Emma Hill presented her final collection for the brand's Spring 2014 runway show at London Fashion Week. The outing was elegant yet practical with a color palette of basic black and white infused with touches of red, nude and blue. Hill celebrated inherently English themes such as tea parties, estate gardens and even bull dogs with her playfully demure look. The Mulberry woman was feminine in bold flower motifs yet restrained in leather dresses and boxy tops. Large striped in loose-fitting shirt and skirt combinations brought an ease to Hill's sophisticated designs." - fashiongonerouge.com
"Staying true to her roots and her own personal identity is of great importance to Simone Rocha. She doesn't use abstract concepts to fuel her collections but mines her homeland of Ireland and he close knit family for inspiration. And so, following on from last season's collection, which was dedicated to her two grandmothers, for spring she turned her attention to Connemara, a wild and woolly region in western Ireland which she took a trip to earlier this year. She invited us to a beautifully polished punk wedding, the guests sporting bunches mohicans and clompy sandals. GOne were the pretty pinks and fuzzy yellows of autumn and in their place a line-up of beautiful pieces in monochrome." - elleuk.com
"Given the body-con dresses and the teased Joan Jett hair on the runway this evening, it would be easy to say, oh, "There's that Mark Fast cobwebby knitted thing again," but on closer inspection, his work is much more important. This is because Fast is a fabric innovator, a fact he demonstrated this season with his woven wool dresses. "I guess I am quite technical," he said backstage. "I work a lot with Woolmark and especially now with this great new fabric called cooling wool, which does what it says—cools down, rather than heats up. It's perfect for those who don't like scratchy wool. It is a genuine innovation." - style.com

TGIF - After an extremely busy week at work full of meetings, I couldn't be happier that it's the weekend! I recently purchased these embellished booties and have honestly not stopped wearing them since I got them. Since the boots take the spotlight I wore a neutral patterned longer button up dress shirt with black leggings. A sparkly necklace, stacked silver bracelets, boyfriend watch, ponytail with braids, and a bold red lip finished off my Casual Friday outfit. Hope you all have a fun filled weekend!

Happy Hump Day! Man this week is fighting by, I still cant believe Wednesday is over! Today I continued my bold pattern and colour obsession with this magenta mini-skirt with black outlined pattern with a solid silk t-shirt blouse and black opaque tights. To add that little bit of umph I opted for a white and bronze statement necklace and black velvet pumps with bronze toe caps. Finishing off my look were my silver layered bracelets, silver boyfriend watch, curled hair, black lined eyes, and a glossed lip.

Bold patterns and vibrant colours are hugely in for Fall and this dress checks off both the boxes. This v-neck, capped sleeve mini dress with drawstring waist is best went it is paired with black opaque tights and either pumps or riding boots. Because of work I paired my dress with nude pumps with bow detailing and contrast black toe cap and heel, a large silver pendent necklace, my layered silver bracelets and boyfriend watch, and large silver pearl stud earrings. Bold lashes, a pink cheek, lightly curled hair, and a natural lip were the perfect finishing touches for a day at the office turned into an evening full of shopping!

With leather being a HUGE trend for this Fall Season I am starting to get really excited to start wearing all my pieces now that the weather has cooled down. After an extremely relaxing weekend of vegging on the couch, watching movies and a marathon of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, I know I'm not the only one. I opted to keep the comfy going with a leather jumper and jewel toned purple tights. Completing my look was a giraffe print white and black cardigan, black brogue style shoes, my usual silver jewellery and watch, a high bun, amber coloured eyeshadow, and a subtle pink lip.
