The head designer of Ports 1961, Fiona Cibani, was quoted saying the Fall 2012 Collection's main message was "Strong, but not aggressive." This showcased through its bold patterns and strong shapes. Luxurious fabrics were the main focus, from cashmere to metallic. Proving that even if the shapes aren't that flattering, the fabric and texture make up for it.
