DIY Jewellery Organiser

If you are like me and have thousands of pieces of jewellery thrown into some sort of "organizational" container, then this DIY Project is just for you.  It is super easy, cost efficent, cute and only took me one hour to complete!
All you need is a cork board, some sort of fabric, electrical tape/nails/staples and tacks. I went to Walmart and bought a cork board ($6.79) and a Twin Sized Flat Sheet ($7.00). (If you buy the cork board at Walmart it should come with hanging hooks and screws to fasten to the wall.  If not you can purchase them at your local hardware/craft store.)
Cut the fabric to fit tightly and comfortably around the cork board.  Ensure there is enough fabric at the back to be able to securly attach it to the board.  I simply used Electrical Tape, but you could use nails or staples as well.  Keep in mind, it doesn't matter how ugly it looks back there since no one will see it.
I pretty much folded the fabric around the frame of the cork board like I would if I was wrapping a present.
Once all sides are securly taped to the board, all that is left is fasten the hanger hardware to the frame.
Once the hardware is in place, pick a spot on your wall, hammer in some nails were desired and hang.
Once hung you can start hanging your jewellery on the board.  Using tacks, simply push into the board where desired and VOLA!  Your very own jewellery organiser and all for under $20 and an hour of your time.  As you can see I am not yet finished hanging everything, but am well on my way.
If you end up creating your own, please let me know via email, adayinthelifeof.rebecca@gmail.com, and I will be sure to post them for all to see on my blog :)  Happy Crafting!
