Kenzo Fall 2012 - Paris Fashion Week

Kenzo is one of my favorite brands, it is so wearable, affordable and fashionable.  With a filled house of the young uber trendy, Kenzo felt the need to spice up their runway show with a new and exciting location.  After the show Lim was quoted by saying, "We wanted a venue that had never been used before", and is the reason why they choice the Université Pierre et Marie Curie.  Three different levels and hues were used, while models used the elevators to travel from level to level.  This definitely pushed the limit of fashion, and created a daring yet fun atmosphere.  Kenzo's inspiration, interiors, was shown through marble tile floors and grape prints and using house hold decor as fashion.
Tweeds, knits, patterns, graphics and a stress on tailoring helped create a well put together look and collection.  To quote Leon on the feel of Kenzo's Fall 2012 Collection, "a girl dressing up in her closet, playing with different types of clothing."
