Embellishment and beading were no stranger in the Balmain Fall 2012 Collection, which helped enhance the Louis XIV meets Rocker Chic feel. Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, stuck with classic shaped but modernized them with prints, exaggerated shoulders, pearl detailing, leather and mixing fabrics/textures. The collection is simply gorgeous, the perfect mix, creating modernized classics, allowing the pieces to be worn for many years. Personally I love the over sized men's inspired blazers. The tuxedo detailing and intricate beading really gives them the femininity needed to be paired with pieces already in our closets.
