I was sooo looking forward to the Mackage Spring 2013 Collection and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW! The collection was simply stunning and every piece held its own strutting down the runway. The major trends were leather and fabric combinations, leather pants/shorts/hot pants for both men and women (obvi the hot pants were only for women), biker inspired bombers and vests, and neon pops. In terms of detailing the collection was full of asymmetric zippers, belt detailing, gold hardware, biker stitching, double breasted closures, contrasting leather sleeves, draping, and wide collars. Colours ranged from white to black, saddle brown to sky blue, and beige to neon yellow. Leather looks like it is going to be another hot commodity for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 season and I can't wait for this cold Toronto winter to stop and leather weather to start up again!
