This was by far the coolest runway show I have EVER been to. Korhani Home's concept is turning household carpets into fabulous clothes for both men and women, which is mind blowing enough until you see the clothes! The Spring 2013 Collection featured 3 separate mini-collections, Glamour, The 1920-30's, and The Tropics. The Glamour portion focused on rich jewel tones, feminine/body-con silhouettes, metallic, and an overall Old Hollywood vibe. Next up were The 1920-30's which was full of fringe, bold patterns, fun and flirty shapes, both relaxed and tailored fits, bringing out the flapper in all of us. Last but not least, my fav part of the collection, The Tropics. This mini collection featured by far the boldest colours and prints in an array of dresses, jumpers, cropped tops, pants, and even menswear. The highlight of The Tropics mini were the live parrots strutting down the runway on the arms of one male and one female model.
