From the Street to the Red Carpet

Yao Chen walked the Red Carpet at the 'Love Your Life' 15th Anniversary Gala hosted by Shanghai Times in China on Wednesday.  Chen wore a classic black Alexander McQueen cropped trousers and blazer with a blush pink ostrich-feather peplum sleeveless blouse.  Completing her look were a pair of velvet and leather red and silver strappy Jimmy Choo sandals.  Kristen Stewart showed some skin again at the NYC Premiere of 'On the Road' at the SVA Theatre yesterday evening.  Stewart went with another sheer dress and undergarment combination this time by Erdem.  She paired her sheer dress with neon floral embellishment with neon Christina Louboutin stilettos and sky blue bustier bra and high waisted shorts.  I like seeing Stewart steering away from her usual casual looks but this one makes her look cheap and trashy... A for effort but F for outcome.
At the LA Premiere of 'This is 40' Leslie Mann wowed in a Vionnet gown on the Red Carpet.  The white gown featured a black waist belt and orange beading embellishment around the neckline.  Mann paired her look with a white box clutch, gold drop earrings, and black mesh pumps.  Not only am I extremely exciting about this movie coming out, I am loving this look, so classic with the perfect amount of trendiness.  I have been loving Joanne Froggatt's style throughout press for Season 3 of Downton Abbey and the Photocall in NYC held at the Essex house Wednesday evening was another home-run for Joanne.  She wore a 60's inspired Moschino black blouse with ivory contrast collar and black skirt with ivory floral leather appliques from the Fall 2012 Collection.  Black pumps and a white shoulder bag completed her look with braided up-do, a smokey eye, and nude lip.
Kourtney and Kim Kardashian stepped out in Miami for some much needed retail therapy at their Dash Boutique.  The sisters kind of looked more like twins since they both opted for peplum skirt looks.  You would think with all the clothes both of them have they would have been able to not wear the same thing.  However, separately both of their outfits are uber-fab.  Kourtney had some fun with colour blocking a olive green Ani Lee peplum mini-skirt and a tangerine long sleeved blouse with zip-front detailing and exaggerated shoulders.  Completing her look were black YSL pumps, Celine handbag, and Prada sunnies.  Kim wore her usual black ensemble this time a black leather Alexander McQueen below the knee pencil skirt and cropped tank top, showing an inch of bare midriff; black BCBGeneration stilettos completed her H2T black look.
