Stéphane Rolland Spring 2014 Couture - #PCW

"Photos barely do justice to Stéphane Rolland’s organic sculpturesque couture collection. The show opened with organza drifting off the linebacker shoulders of a white jumpsuit, and climaxed with a dramatic orange fishtail gown with winglike organza protrusions resembling a butterfly — or a Venus flytrap. Indeed, Rolland’s futuristic brand of couture isn’t targeted at wallflowers — as a front row that included Kim Kardashian and Paz Vega can attest. The workmanship was impressive. Swirling ruffles and peplums undulated on evening gowns in a mesmerising way. Softer styles include enveloping capes and a dreamy, off-white gown with blousy sleeves and a plastron of varnished leather in front." - wwd.com
