It's been a while since I have shared my monthly Ipsy Bags with you all and though since summer is clearly in the air it would be the perfect time. Especially since I was finally able to use some of my May goodies! Hello Sunshine! Let's get this partay started :)
May was a disappointing month here in Toronto, the weather wasn't quite sure what it wanted to do and because of that I couldn't test out all of the products, until NOW! The May Ipsy Bag was titled 'Fresh Picks' and featured Spring/Summer products every girl needs. 1) Hey Honey Take It Off: Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask - First off it smells A-MAZ-ING, had to get that out. However, it also moisturises, exfoliates, brightens, smooths, is Paraben and S.L.S. Free, and literally peels off. 2) Pacifica Duo #2: Natural Beauty - This shimmering duo is great to be worn alone or together. The only problem is that is doesn't apply smoothly and isn't overly pigmented, more of a iridescent shimmer, which is too bad the colours are beautiful and infused with minerals. (Maybe if worn with a primer underneath the colour would be more vibrant.) 3) Hang Ten Classic Sport Sunscreen: SPF 50 - Cute Packaging - Check, Soft/Non-Oily Touch - Check, Tropical Smell - Check, Natural Ingredients - Check! Honestly, what more could you want from a Sunscreen!! 4) Chisel Shader: Crown Brush - This soft and thick synthetic eye shadow brush is perfect for intricate detailing or creating the perfect smokey eye. 5) Pūr~lisse: Pūr-moist Hydra-Balance Moisturizer - Highly moisturising day and night cream for normal-dry skin that helps with sensitivity and ageing skin. Glides on uber smooth, leaving an extremely soft canvas for either makeup application or a good nights rest.
June is here, the weather has decided it's Summer, and everyone is happy! Bonus - opening up your June Ipsy Bag to products you ACTUALLY need and not that you just want to try out! 1) NYX Butter Gloss: BLG08 Apple Strudel - Smooth, pigmented, and non-sticky… have I died and gone to heaven? I always love finding a gloss that fits that criteria and boy did NYX deliver. Not to mention this colour is sheer perfection for summer and smells scrumptious too! 2) Marc Anthony: Dream Waves Beach Spray - This spray can either be sprayed on dry or damp hair to create the perfect beach waves. It smells like I should be on a beach somewhere tropical sipping a Pina Colada in a bikini, so why not take it to the beach with you on your upcoming summer vaca! 3) Be A Bombshell Lash Out Mascara - Highly pigmented with large full wand to get to every last lash. The lengthening formula will make you forget those falsies. 4) Jesse's Girl: Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - Japanese calligraphy was their inspiration while creating the marker tip on this liquid liner. This tip creates thick and full lines, allowing easy movement to create any liner style desired. 5) Laneige: BB Cushion - Think BB Cream in sponge form because that is exactly what this product is. Brighten, fill, hydrate, and colour correct your skin without the liquid mess.
