Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014 #MFW

"The ring of fire suited the mostly rust, red, black, grey, blue and white colour palette in this Roberto Cavalli autumnal collection which also features feathery tie-dye print among other artistic motifs. In this stunning retro-inspired Roberto Cavallo Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection, Cavalli takes inspiration from the boho-chic tie-dye clothing of the 1960's and 1970's as well as the Art Deco era from the early 20th Century, in particular the 1920's and 1930's." - examiner.com

Versace Fall 2014 #MFW

"Versace Fall 2014 - Donatella Versace aimed for a cleaned up and simplified outing with Versace's fall-winter 2014 collection. The Italian fashion house's revamped look certainly did not mean a doing away of its trademarked sensuality. Versace presented bias cut dresses for a body-conscious look featuring glimpses of skin. Elsewhere, the fall season embraces military inspired ornaments embellished over coats, on top of dresses as well as slim-cut pantsuits. The rock and roll, party girl spirit came out in the form of short mini dresses decorated with sparkles and studs galore." - fashiongonerogue.com

Tod's Fall 2014 #MFW

"For her second outing as the creative director of Tod's, Alessandra Fachinetti seemed to want to show off all the capabilities of an Italian fashion atelier. The collection's shoes and bags were impeccable, as they always are, but you got the feeling that and even more intense level of attention was paid to creating some of the clothes in the collection. Take for example the oversize leather shirt decorated with bands of triangular cut-outs, or the windowpane-check jacket and trousers that matched perfectly with a fur scarf in the same pattern. This offering wasn't so much about fashion as it was about the enduring quality of Tod's products, but there are some decidedly modern pieces here that will stand the test of time." - popsugar.com.au

Emporio Armani Fall 2014 #MFW

"Giorgio Armani is beloved of businesswomen, ladies who lunch and a whole ballroom's worth of bona fide princesses. Dabbling in the counter-culture is positively not his bag. And yet at this morning's Emporio Armani show there was more than a hint of luxe-goth about his second Armani line's looks for next winter. Perhaps it was the dark, close-cropped Armani-directed hair and the anaemic-cheeked, dark-lipped Armani-sanctioned make-up. But when teamed with the most tomboyish looks - dark, fur lined coats teamed with broad pinstriped trousers and commando soled flat shoes with the odd flash of sparkle - there hints of Robert Smith meets Beatrice Dalle to the new season Emporio aesthetic." - fashion.telegraph.co.uk

Moschino Fall 2014 #MFW

"It kind of panned out just the way you imagined it would. Jeremy Scott is fashion's most evolved connoisseur of junk culture, and, in his heyday, Franco Moschino loved nothing more than poking the bear of fashion orthodoxy with flagrant infusions of trash. So when Scott paraded his mutant hybrid of Ronald McDonald and Coco Chanel, and his Budweiser and Frito-Lay couture, all in the name of the late, great Franco, there was a friskily superficial compatibility. But - chalk it up to the gulf of time separating the two careers - there was in fact a difference in tone between Scott's revision of the Moschino legacy and Franco's original template. Today's Moschino presentation was a crowd-pleaser. Katy Perry and her friends in the front row were eating it up. Franco, on the other hand, was more satirical by nature and made a habit of biting the fashion hand that fed him." - style.com
