After Beyonce showed up at this year's BET Awards last week wearing a Stephane Rolland gown, which you can see here, I had to see more of the designer. And what perfect timing with Paris Couture Week happening and the Stephane Rolland Fall 2012 Couture Show yesterday. I would have liked to see more colour, but the neutral coloured collection was gorgeous. I loved the belt, embroidery, feather and colour blocking detailing used throughout each piece that strutted down the runway. Hit slits, plunging necklines, interesting shapes, sheer and a whole lot of sexy appeal was clearly emphasised throughout. I also loved how the end of the collection featured some jumpsuits and pant designs, great way to showcase your talents outside of stunning gowns.
It's too bad that not only did they hold the show waiting for Kim and Kanye for an hour before starting without them, but that they only were able to catch the finale. Common you got front row tickets to the show and you show up for the end, how RUDE! She did however look gorgeous in a full length Rolland gown with of course a high slit and origami flower detailing with Louboutin pumps, Kanye stuck to his usual H2T black ensemble, boring!
