It's Paris Couture Week, which means fabulous, over the top and way to expensive designs are strutting down the runway for many major designers for the next couple of days, and I can't wait to see it all. First up, Atelier Versace F/W 2013, which took place Monday night in the Pool Room at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, which is the same location that Gianni used for his couture shows before his death in 1997. Covering the pool and creating a runway is a Versace tradition with glass panels behind displaying the Versace logo in vibrant colours. Donatella's theme throughout the collection was "deconstruction and reconstruction in all its various forms", which was evident mostly in her fabric cutting and asymmetric shapes in her gowns. The collection was very Versace with all the short minis, high slits, cut outs, bright colours, vibrant patterns, cinched waists and glammed up fabrics. With Couture week on until July 4th, I can't wait to share all the amazing fashions from this years Paris Couture Week with you all, so you must stay tuned. To view the complete schedule click here.
