Mackage's Fall 2013 Collection was presented to an extremely dark tent with dramatic spot lights and lacquer-like runway. Co-creative Directors, Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan, used colours and shades during the transitional seasons as their inspiration such as bright orange, bordeaux, navy, and the ever popular black. For their newly introduced handbag line the influence was using Mackage's exquisite outerwear and gifted design to create affordable luxury in the form of totes, clutches, and backpacks. Now, back to the clothes... the collection featured a lot of head-to-toe and layering of leather both for men and women, combinations were also hot on the runway with fabric/leather and fur/leather combos, and all fabric puffer and parkas with dramatic funnel necks and fur trimmed hoods. However, the most impressive features were all in the details: leather piping, inside collars, and elbow patches, amazing fits, and impeccable styling we expect from Mackage.
