Louise Roe is one of today's biggest fashion icons. Although she isn't always in the lime light, she does play a major role in the Fashion Industry. The London born 29 year old currently lives in Los Angeles, while taking on more than her fair share of work within the industry. He largest role, as the Editor at Large at Glamour US, Louise also writes for UK glossy Company, Microsoft News MSN and StylishPick (an online retailer). Having her our Jewellery/Accessory line was not enough for Roe, as she also has a clothing line with retailer HSN. She was also on MTV's The City and is a regular on E! News and Fashion Police. And that is just to touch on her impressive resume, click here for more.
You're probably wondering why I am blogging about her... well it is simple, HER STYLE! It is impeccable and like no one else's. Louise can go from glamorous and elegant (like the picture above from the Oscars) or bohemian and hipster like (hippy headbands, floppy hats and menswear). She really can do no wrong.
Roe also loves colour and colour blocking, which you can see more of here. Mixing bright colours such as purples and turquoises together, as seen below, and also pairing them with more neutral colours as well.
Infusing patterns into her wardrobe brings excitement and depth, mix a patterned pencil skirt with a basic solid coloured sweater, as seen above, and voila perfection. Her height and long legs really allow her to pull off the H2T (Head to Toe) patterns in some of the maxi dresses she wears.
Embellishment and accessories also play an important role in her wardrobe and more importantly her style. Her obvious love for shoes is apparent, hardly ever seen in the same pair, but also her attention to detail with colour, weight, texture and overall cohesiveness.
Fashion Editor, TV Personality, Writer, Designer, Model, Volunteer, Style Icon. Whatever you classify Louise as, or look up to most about her. You cannot miss the fact that she is a special individual with an exciting career in the Fashion World ahead of her. That, personally, I can't wait to watch grow.
