"Burberry's embracing all kinds of elements for autumn winter 2014. Creatively speaking Christopher Baily definitely broadened his outlook on the capabilities of the brand with both pattern and colour. In fact, if it weren't for the layering of the garments, such patterns and colours would lead us to believe we were watching spring summer 2014 instead. Maybe it's the London weather that lead Bailey to look towards a brighter future for the brand. We all know it can't get much greyer, so any colour at all is a welcome change to the climate during autumn winter in England. While we sat there wondering about the influences of the collection, a press release popped into our inbox - it wouldn't surprise us at all if Burberry are already in development of an app that can read your mind while at the show. Burberry revealed that the collection is titled 'The Bloomsbury Girls'. It stated inspiration was taking from 'the British decorative art of the Bloomsbury set'. There is no doubting that this collection was decorative. From the hand painted footwear to the painted shearling coat, this was a collection that is the new Burberry Bohemian and it's a look we're putting out full weight behind." - fashionfoiegras.com
