What are you favorite Holiday Movies that have become tradition in your house around this time?

Style Watch - Olivia Palermo

We first grew to love Olivia Palermo when she was on the MTV hit The City, featureing Whiteney Port.  Now that the series has ended Miss. Palermo has still been on the fashion rador, being on numerous magazine covers, the face of fashion labels and a style icon within the young hipster crowd.

I, myself love her style.  I think it is so effortless, yet so well put together from head to toe.  Her use of accessories and detail is untouchable and is always flawless.  Never afraid to surrender to a trend from head to toe and also mixes and matchs trends which really showcase her true sense of style.

From the red carpet to the streets, she is by far, in my opinion, one of the best dressed women of 2011.

What do you think of Olivia Palermo's style?

6 Sleeps Until Christmas

With only 5 1/2 days left for Christmas shopping, the malls have been getting crazier and crazier with last min shoppers.  With me usually being one of them, it is nice to have my Christmas shopping done relitively early.

Whos left for you to check off your Christmas Shopping List?

Good luck in those Malls and happy shopping!

Next Shoedazzle Purchase

I just received the shoes I ordered a couple of weeks ago that I posted about and now I am onto my next order.  It is so addicting and spending $40 on shoes is never a mistake!

With this new hot Jeffery Cambell shoe craz, spending $40 for a look alike sounds alot better than the $100 plus price tag the Jeffery Cambell ones are selling for.  It is a super trendy shoe, and lets be honest here since I have over 50 pairs of heels how often am I going to wear them?

What do you guys think, splurge on yet another pair of shoes or spend it on something else?

Glee Season 3 Extraordinary Merry Christmas

Glee's Christmas special was on tonight and it was no dissapointment.  For all of you who watched the episode what did you think?

I love Chrstmas Music and I was signing along (alone) in my condo.  Share with us what your favorite song/songs of the episode were.  Mine was "These are a few of my favorite things" performed by Curt, Rachel, Blaine and Mercedes.

And a GREAT job to Mathew Morrison, aka Mr. Schuester, on his directorial debut.

Some Fashion Inspiration on a Tuesday Evening

Tis The Season For Accessories

There is no better time to pull out all the stops then the holidays.  The season is filled with parties, dinners and festive gatherings with friends, family and love ones and is the perfect time to accessorize from head to toe. Adding a necklace, bracelet, ring or fun pair of shoes will only take another minute while your getting dressed but will make all the difference once everything is put together.

Try this: With every outfit you wear from now until the holidays are over pair one more accessory with your outfit.  I can guarantee you will be turning heads at all of your upcoming holiday events.

Take some inspiration from the photos below.

Adding one large statement piece adds interest and creates a focal point.

Mix and match your accessories. Mix classic with trendy, edgy with femininl.

Bows, whether on clothing or shoes, add depth and fun to any outfit.

Layering bangles, whether chunky, coloured, charmed etc., shows your personal style.
Feathers are fun in all shapes, sizes, patterns and colours.  Great for any part of your outfit.

Hair accessories, whether a headband, clip or fascinator will give the finishing touch for your "head" to toe look.

Chunky statement necklaces give a simple tee or a dressy dress enough umph to stand on its own.

Layering different lengths of necklaces create interest and complete the look with whatever you are wearing, dressy or casual.

Big statement earrings are great to grab and go if you dont have time in the morning.

Perfect Ending to a Jam Packed Sunday

After Secret Santa was over and only a couple of us remained, we started watching Christmas Movies.  I however, couldnt stop watching Christmas Movies and ended up watching not one but four and not to mention the one I watched Saturday night.

My Christmas Movie Extravigansa started with Love Actually, then National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, then Home Alone 2 and ending with Elf.  I love Christmas and Christmas movies bring back so many amazing memories from past holiday seasons.  Theres nothing better than curling up on the couch in your comfys and with a snack.

However, the perfect ending to my day involved watching the Giants and Cowboys and enjoying a cesar!  Then heading to bed!

How do you make a Cesar you ask...

Ingredients:
1 ounce Vodka
1 or 2 lime slices
Horseradish
Sea salt (Cesar Rimmer)
Clamato Juice
Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco
Pickled onion
Olive
Pickles

Directions:

3. Fill up the remainder of the glass with Clamato Juice and stir all contents together

Peanut Butter Cookies - Raindeer Styles

My girlfriend Nicole came over Saturday night to help prepare for our Secret Santa party and watch Christmas movies together.  Her Christmas treat were these home make Raindeer Peanut Butter cookies, a recipe she got off of Pintrest.  After making a little boo boo, by little I mean mixing up 3/4 of a tablespoon with 3/4 of a cup of baking soda, batch 2 were incredable and super fun to make!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
chocolate-covered mini pretzels
brown and red M&Ms

Directions:
(this recipe makes around 40 cookies)
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Combine sugar, peanut butter, shortening, milk and vanilla in bowl.  Beat/stir at medium speed untill well blended. Add egg beat/stir until blended.
3. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix until blended.
4. Form dough into 1 inch balls.  To make raindeer shape, pinch bottom of the ball to create a point.  Flatten with your hand on cookie tray.  Space the cookies about 2 inches apart on a greased tray.
5. Bake for 7-8 minutes or until set/begining to brown.
6. Remove from oven and immediately press two pretzels into the top of the cookie for the antliers.  Press two brown M&Ms for eyes and a red M&M for the nose.
7. Let cool for 2 minutes on the cookie tray and then transfer onto a platter.

How cute and festive are these cookies.  No one will believe you made them :)
