Week 24 Best Dressed

The 2013 Tony Awards were held last night in NYC, amongst attendies were Scarlett Johansson wearing and Jane Krakowski wearing an embellished Escada gown with David Webb jewels, matching Jimmy Choo silver tube clutch, Maison Martin Margiela metallic silver waist belt, kohl rimmed smokey eye, nude lip, and side-parted blond up-do.

Also at the Tony Awards was Anna Kendrick wearing a black/nacy Donna Karen Atelier gown with Christian Louboutin pumps, Amrapali jewellery, Edie Parker clutch, rose lip, smokey eye, and a side-parted up-do. Jessica Alba at the 2013 Spike Guys Choice Awards wearing a yellow Atelier Versace mini-dress with Celine red stilettos, matching red manicure and lips, side-swept curls, and simple gold earrings.

Lea Michele wearing Valentino at the 12th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in LA. Completing her look with tasselled curls and bangs, a orange cocktail ring, a nude lip, and soft grey smokey eye. Beyonce was scene leaving Kanye West's birthday in NYC wearing a stipped crop-top and matching pencil skirt TopShop ensemble with bold red stilettos, matching red lip, black hat, and black sunnies.

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian made an appearance at Ulta Beauty in Huntington Beach, CA promoting their newly named Kardashian Beauty line. Kourtney opted for a peach and nude patterned Saunder's cocktail dress with Sophia Webster sandals, lightly curled pinned-back hair, a nude lip, and minimal accessories, while Khloe wore a white Hever Leger bandage dress with side-swept curls, bold red lip, Christian Louboutin sandals, and oversized earrings. Emmy Rossum at the 2013 Critic's Choice Television Awards in Beverley Hills wearing a red embellished Naeem Khan gown with side swept curls, matching red lip, Katerina Maxine ring, Christina Louboutin pumps, Norman Silverman earrings, and subtle makeup.

IPSY June 'On The Wild Side'

Another month another Ipsy Bag. To be honest this month's bag was my least favourite, however there were a couple of products that I am extremely excited to receive and try. If you don't know about Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription which costs $10 US per month and you will receive between 4-6 products including a cute themed makeup bag.

This month's theme was "On The Wild Side" and featured 4 products and 1 bonus product!

1) Starlooks Lip Pencil - This lead free lip liner has a creamy moisturising formula providing a long lasting, full coverage. 2) Chella Ivor Lace Highlighter Pencil - To be applied to your brow bone, dark circles, blemishes, and red spots to brighten and visibly lift the area. Simply apply to desired area and blend with your ring finger. 3) PSSSST! Instant Dry Shampoo - This lightweight formula soaks up sweat, oils, and product build-up allowing a longer lasting blow out. Simply spray, comb, and go! (Perfect for my Bonaroo experience this weekend!)

4) J Cats Beauty Sparkling Cream Palette - The cream texture allows you to easily apply the sparkles the your body with a normal applicator. (Unsure if I will end up using it, but will definitely give it a chance.) 5) NYX Rough Cream Blush - The smooth texture makes this cream blush extremely easy to apply and blend as needed/wanted. I already have this in 2 other colours and LOVE IT!!! So I am extremely excited to try this new colour!

A Sad Farewell to my Monthly Julep Maven Box

I am sad to announce that my June Julep Maven Box "Sail into Summer" will be my final one :( Being a lover of nail polish and thinking you can never have too much, I have unfortunately realised you can. Although, I love the polishes, colours, quality, and other monthly goodies, I just don't need 2+ polishes a month! So without further adieu here's the 3 products I received in my last Julep Maven Box ;(

1) A 1oz tube of Julep's DD Creme in colour Medium. This 'Dynamic Do-All' makeup contains SPF 25, anti-ageing ingredients, olive and hibiscus extracts, light-weight coverage, and comes in 4 different shades. 2) Julep Nail Lacquer in Dianna and 3) Julep Nail Lacquer in Lexie.

With summer just around the corner and a trip to Tennessee taking place as you are reading this I will hopefully have that summer glow us girls are all looking for when I come back. Since I received the product in Medium it is perfect for this time of year, as typically I wear a lighter shade, however in the summer I usually wear no face makeup because I don't want to purchase yet another foundation colour. Also, both nail lacquers are going to be perfect for both my finger and toe nails throughout summer. I am obsessed with bright polishes and these two colours together will be like peanut-butter and jam together! This was such a great box and made it even sadder to cancel my subscription, but who knows maybe sometime soon down the road I will be a Julep Maven once again!
