Madonna's Super Bowl Half Time Show

With much anticipation of Madonna hitting the stage as this years Half Time Performer, she definitely kept the engery high and the special guests coming.  Madonna's special guests included Nicki Minaj, MIA and LMFAO.  Keeping the crowd entertained was not hard with this performance. For all of you Super Bowl watchers what did you think of Madonna's performance?

Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning brought his team to victory last night by beating the New England Patrionts 21-17.  Making this their second Super Bowl win, both being against the Patriots, and being crowned The Super Bowl 46 Champions!

The Gladstone Hotel - Melody Bar

Since moving to Toronto, I have had the opportunity to try out some of the best restaurants the city has to offer.  One of my local favs is The Gladstone Hotel, located at 1214 Queen St West at the corner of Gladstone and Queen St West.  They offer a wide selection of tasty entrees and desserts for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (to view their menus click here).  I have to say though that my all time fav entree and pretty much the reason why I go is the Portobello Cheeseburger, described on their menu as "panko crisped cheese stuffed portobello mushroom cap with lettuce, tomato and zucchini pickle".  WOW, so yummy!  I would highly recommend checking out The Gladstone Hotel if you are ever in the Queen West area.  You will not be disappointed.  Great food, drinks and company, equals a great time :)

Loving my New Necklace from Anthropologie

I purchased this necklace around 2 weeks ago from Anthropologie and when it arrived in the mail last week I was so excited.  It is so gorg and goes with everything, both casual and dressy!  I am really into statement necklaces and jewelry in general and simply had to purchase this piece when I saw it.  And for $58.00 you can't go wrong.

Today I am wearing it with my Danier Leather leather and fabric t-shirt, skinny jeans and leopard booties from Aldo.

Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

As I mentioned in my previous Super Bowl Post, which you can view here, below are the ingredients and recipe for the Buffalo Chicken Dip.  I cant wait to make it, it just looks and sounds so yummy and seems pretty easy to make. :)

Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup Ranch dressing
3/4 cup Frank's Red Hot
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
1 box crackers

Directions:
Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until cooked through.  Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing.  Cook, stirring until well blended and warm.  Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.  Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on low until hot and bubbly.  Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

Super Bowl Sunday Snacks

With only 2 sleeps left until the big day, it is time to plan, plan and plan some more what festive snacks I am going to make for my Super Bowl Party.  My moto is you can never have too many snacks, so I want to make sure I am stocked and no one leaves hungry!

As an avid reader of Elle, I am so excited to see Miss Blake Lively on the cover and featured in a centre fold shoot.  As usual she looks gorg and is showing off some of Springs hottest and trendest designers.

New Site Alert - Stella & Dot

I most recently came across this site, after someone had tweeted about it.  Since I am such a sucker for online shopping and fashion I just couldn't resist.  It also didn't hurt that celebrities such as Kourtney Kardasian, Giuliana Rancic, Fergie, Kelly Ripa and many others have been seen wearing their items.  Stella & Dot have also being featured in many magazines such as People, OK and US Weekly and even have been featured on Gossip Girl. Well, can I say that checking it out was the best/worst idea.  Best because I LOVE their stuff, their jewelry is amazing!  Worst because I am in trouble and my shopping cart is already at almost $300!

Next Monday's Gossip Girl

With only 4 more sleeps until the 101st episode of Gossip Girl, which is to air on Monday February 6th,  I just cant wait any longer to find out what will happen.  Below are some stills from the upcoming episode, still leaving alot of unanswered questions about Dan and Blair.  However, I looks as though they are at the airport, heading somewhere but where... Tune in to Gossip Girl on Monday at 8pm on the CW (US) and Much Music (Canada) to find out.

Dinner Tonight at Fresh

I am so excited to be heading to Fresh tonight with my girlfriend Manisha for dinner.  Fresh is one of my favorite spots in Toronto when I'm craving some healthy, organic, vegetarian food.  With three locations in Toronto (Bloor and Spadina, Spadina and Richmond and Queen St W and Crawford) it is definitely a place to try.  If you enjoy veggies, tofu, salads, vegetarian burgers, wraps and all things healthy, than this is the place for you.  They also offer an array of smoothies and juices and desserts!  Try their Cashew Cookie, it is life changing!  Check out their website, http://www.freshrestaurants.ca/, to view the menu and learn a little bit more about the Fresh Philosophy.

Can I say how fabu Gwyneth Paltrow looks on the March Issue of Harper's Bazaar.  The cover and spread was shot by none other than Terry Richardson and features some unfamiliar/unknown fashion designers.

Map of the World

I cannot wait to get this map stained and put up on my wall, with my dad's help obvi.  This map is custom made and belonged to my Grandma.  When she moved out of her condo and into a smaller space she needed to get rid of somethings (by somethings I mean 40 years worth of stuff).  I was lucky enough to score this map, as I have loved it for as long as I can remember.  I decided to keep my grandmas pins in it and add to it.  The black pins represent where my Grandma has travelled to, the royal blue pins is where we've both travelled to and the pink pins are where I have travelled to.  As you can see my Grandma is a well travelled woman and it is going to be tough competing against her.

What do you think of Kim K's outfit? (Hate / Love)  I love hearing from you, so leave your comments below. I personally love it!  Full length "Maxi" skirts are so in for Spring/Summer.  Fingers crossed I can find one that fits and looks good on me :)
